Principal
I have been part of the Education Directorate here in Canberra for 20 years, working in schools in Belconnen and the South Weston network, as well as the EALD Executive Officer for the Directorate. I started my teaching career in Melbourne and lots of my time is spent back there visiting family. I am passionate about working with families and teachers to build strong relationships and working together to support all students. I look forward to meeting and working with you at Forrest.

My name is Liz Bujaroski and I joined Forrest PS in term 4 last year as Deputy Principal. I am the Disability Education Contact Officer (DECO), I support students with diverse learning needs, oversee the EAL/D program and lead the Year 3 and Year 4 teams. I enjoy going to the beach and have an appreciation for different flavours of food. I love dogs and have a pet Pomeranian.

I’m Jemma O’Brien, Deputy Principal. I am also one of the PYP Coordinators and enjoy working with teams of teachers to make the Units of Inquiry even more exciting and engaging. This year I am looking forward to the Year 6 Exhibition and Musical Gala.

Hello everyone. My name is Kylie Dorsett and I have been working with teachers and students at Forrest PS since 2013. My main role is in leading the curriculum, helping teachers plan and deliver the International Baccalaureate, meeting each teaching team once a fortnight to plan Literacy, Numeracy, and Units of Inquiry. I love working in an IB school as it aligns with two of my core values: lifelong learning and taking action to make the world a better place.

My name is Molly and I'm the 5/6 executive teacher. My passions for teaching are writing, and I lead our teachers in Literacy Champions across the school. I also love working with new educators and so I run our Forrest Coaching and Mentoring Programme, which supports teachers to improve practice and feel connected to their workplace. Outside of school I love baking, reading, and spending time with my furry friends.

Yuma! We are the Deakin Preschool team! We take great pride in being the teachers who introduce your child to their schooling journey! We are passionate about Early Literacy Skills and embedding a Reggio Emilia Approach within our preschool, with a strong focus on voice and choice, curiosity and creativity! Emma has a daughter in Kindergarten, Jordan has two children who are in Preschool and Year 2 and Polly’s children are all grown up! Her wild puppy, Hazel, keeps her very busy!
